16 SES 08 A, Diversity in Technology Enhanced Learning
Paper Session
Contribution
Diversity is the word that best characterize the class that we going to discuss about. It is a very special one that illustrates the richness that new publics bring to university.
We have mature students, working full time, returners, African working students, East Country European students, Erasmus students, a German, a French, a Russian student, traditional Portuguese young students and an inmate student.
Unlike other European countries, this is a new reality in the university Portuguese context.
In this paper we intend to critically reflect about the use of a b-learning system by this special class, starting from the perspective and the voice of these different users.
Learning happens beyond classes using a learning management system based on the Internet that empowers communication and interaction, beyond schedule limits, presential spaces, formality and distance, besides any differences.
They communicate, work and learn together in the e-aulas Project, based on Moodle, that is a support space for students from the Coimbra College of Education, as complement for the presential classes, aiming to improve the efficacy of learning.
