For several years the network has discussed the Open Science on several levels: at the ECER in Bolzano an EERA session panel discussion with a European Commission representative and the WERA president has been organised. The network organised a range of EERA sessions and joint sessions on this topic: with NW 6. Open Learning, 2. (VETNET), 30. Sustainability or 17. Histories of Education. Last year the network acquired EERA project funding for the topic and realised a special calls about Open Science for the ECER.
