Annual Report 2008, Göteborg

Annual Report 2008, Göteborg

All the participants of the network meeting have appreciated the organisation and the colleagues from the university always ready to help. We are a little network and if possible, we would prefer that there will be no parallel sessions. Three at the same time the first day were too much; one session was unfortunately cancelled for lack of participants.
We are proud of our 23 sessions, sometimes intensive with interesting discussion. So interesting that the idea of a network publication emerge to settle this idea of partnership with a common definition; “The least negotiated common action to solve a problem or problematic situation considered as common”, (Merini, 1992, 1994, 1999, 2006);  I am looking to a publisher at that time.

Two contacts were established during the conference to organise joint session next year in Vienna; One with  Dora Bjarnason,  Network 4, Inclusive Education and the other with Linda Hargreaves, Network 14, Communities, families and schooling in educational research.

We also wish to organize three symposiums about:

  • Health education,
  • Teacher’s Training and
  • Youth in Difficulties.

In each topic, we have the agreement of 3 or 4 laboratories from coming from 3 or 4 different countries (Canada, France, Italy, and United Kingdom).

Each network holds a Network Meeting during ECER and invites interested researchers to join. We have collected the network meeting minutes.
