Network 07 plans on realising an opening session of the network program at next year`s ECER in Bolzano. This session will include a focus on the conference’ s topic “inclusion and exclusion” and aims to shed light on relevant issues regarding this topic in the host country Italy. One of the objectives of this session will be to relate the audience to the local research community. Network’s honorary member Francesca Gobbo will give an invited talk in this session.
Furthermore, Network 07 plans on holding round table discussions at the upcoming ECER. One of these will be realised in cooperation with Network 15 “Research on partnership in education”. The second one will focus on international perspectives on pedagogical challenges regarding forced migration. Inhabitants of different European countries will exchange views on possible contributions of education and educational research for the inclusion of refugees and the promotion of social justice.
