At this session one of the most influential politicians within education policy in Denmark will participate in a debate on the latest extensive reform of the Danish primary school system. The reform has changed many aspects of the Danish primary school which affect all actors involved in the school system in Denmark. The reform has been subject of a public debate in Denmark involving pupils, their parents, teachers, politicians, researchers and many other actors within the educational system. At this session a leading politician, rector of UCC and a leading researcher within the field will debate gains, surprises and challenges of this reform and draw on experiences from other countries.
