Associations Meet & Greet DGfE (GERA)

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Erziehungswisssenschaft, DGfE (German Educational Research Association, GERA) is a scholarly association of researchers and experts engaged in analyses, research, development and university teaching in the area of education. It aims to pro-mote the gaining of knowledge and expertise in these areas.GERA serves as a forum for discussion and exchange, is part of a network of interdisciplinary and international educational research associations and also maintains a close relationship with organisations of educational practice.It was founded in 1964 and currently has around 3.700 members. Its wide-ranging work is mainly carried out through 14 divisions and 18 subdivisions and manifests itself in publications, meetings and a joint congress, which takes place every two years.

Associations Meet & Greet CAPV

CAPV (the Czech Educational Research Association) is a professional association whose mission is to further education via educational research and mutual communication among scholars in educational research, policy and practise, and to disseminate the findings of educational research. Educational research is understood in its broad, interdisciplinary way that includes all research activities within diverse fields of education and schooling. CAPV is committed to upholding high professional standards in ethical educational research according to the CAPV Ethical Guidelines.

  • CAPV is a member of the European Educational Research Association (EERA)
  • CAPV is a member of the Council of Scientific Societies of the Czech Republic at the Czech Academy of Sciences
  • CAPV is governed by the Executive Board consisting of five elected members.
  • The current president is assoc. prof. Jana Poláchová Vašťatková, Ph.D.

Associations Meet & Greet EAB

Turkish Educational Research Association (EAB) is a national non-profit organi-zation of educational researchers committed to the improvement of theory and practice in education through research. EAB aims to advance knowledge about educational research, to encourage scholarly inquiry related to education, and to cooperate with other educational and scientific organizations to influence edu-cational policy. EAB has been a member of EERA since 2008. EAB is a founding member of the World Education Research Association (WERA).The association organizes an annual international conference on educational research (http://congress.eab.org.tr/) and publishes four international peer-re-viewed journals (http://www.eab.org.tr/eab/pages/yayinlarimiz.php).EAB was one of the local organizers of ECER 2013 in Istanbul.

Associations Meet & Greet LuxERA

Established in January 2018, the Luxembourg Educational Research Association (LuxERA) is dedicated to providing a forum for research, support and encouragement of emerging researchers, science policy, and scientific exchange (publications, conferences, etc.) in the field of educational research. The non-profit association intends to offer a platform for all actors in the field of educational research in Luxembourg as well as the neighbouring countries and in European and international networks. This includes the organisation of conferences and workshops, the promotion of fundamental and applied research, the promotion of young scientists, etc.

Associations Meet & Greet OeFEB

The Austrian Association for Research and Development in Education (OeFEB) is a non-partisan, supra-regional and non-profit association that addresses research, development and teaching in the educational research.

Main goals of the OeFEB:

  • promotion of educational science research development and teaching in Austria
  • promotion of young scientists in the educational research
  • providing evidence base for educational policy
  • disseminating the results of educational research as well as raising the level of public information on the results and the practical value of educational research
  • promotion of cooperation between educational research, educational practice, educational administration and education policy

Currently OeFEB consists of 7 sections, which cover various topics of pedagogical research as well as an Emerging Researcher Group and has around 500 members.
