EERA Summer School 2021

  • EERSS 2020 / EERSS 2021 Update: Because of COVID-19, the University of Jyväskylä postponed the EERA Summer School 2020 to 2021.
  • After much discussion, the Local Organisers at the University of Jyväskylä have decided that EERSS 2021 will take place in a virtual format. They feel that in these uncertain times, this is the format which will allow people to make their plans and commitments well in advance and be able to relax in the knowledge that, regardless of how COVId-19 develops, EERSS 2021 will take place.
  • EERSS 2021 will take place online 14 - 17 June 2021.
  • All applicants who were accepted to attend EERSS 2020 will be eligible to attend EERSS 2021.
The EERA Summer School 2021, hosted by the University of Jyväskylä, will be held 14 - 17 June online. The virtual, interactive Summer School 2021 provides PhD/Doctoral students with an opportunity to present and receive feedback on their research, participate in online workshops related to their topic and methodology of research, and engage with research issues in their small tutorial groups, which offer safe and constructive spaces for debate and discussion. The aim of the EERA Summer School 2021 is to support the students in their endeavour in producing methodologically excellent research with sensitivity to ethical issues.
