Session Information
04 SES 07 B, Inclusive Education in Finland.
Roundtable
Contribution
In August (25 / 26) 2010 the ECER network 4 ‘Inclusive education’ meets in Finland and discusses in numerous sessions many aspects of inclusive education. The large majority of the members of network 4 know little about the state of affairs in inclusive education in this year’s host country Finland. This invited symposium tries to offer the members of network 4 a means to learn more about inclusive education in Finland and presents an unique opportunity for asking questions and in-depth discussion with presenters from Finland.
The two presentations address respectively inclusive education on classroom level, go into the support systems available for teachers and students and explain the education policy regarding inclusion in Finland.
