5. Children and Youth at Risk and Education

Interview with Link Convenor 2019

Network Objectives

The research network focuses on issues and problems faced by children and youth at risk in any context, from urban and suburban to rural and coastal, which involve or affect education. It also explores the strategies used at national, regional and local levels, that aim to improve support and provision for children and young people who are at risk.

The research network provides a forum for discussion and debate of current issues affecting children and youth at risk in education. The network welcomes research which contributes a European perspective on these issues. Proposals for paper sessions, symposia and posters are encouraged. These may be empirical, methodological or conceptual. We particularly invite papers that describe and review theoretical frameworks, methodological challenges and innovations, and the knowledge base relating to the thematic research field of the network.
