Session Information
13 SES 01, Today's Philosophy of Education: Challenges and Perspectives towards Contemporaneity
Paper Session, Network Opening
Contribution
Philosophy of Education while activity of reflection on educational problems has as core problematic the problematic of contemporaneity: Contemporaneity seen as the first of the Human Rights, that is, as the right to contemporaneity, the right to be contemporary with all its consequent benefits but also with all requirements, assumptions and risks therein implied. In my speech I intend to clarify the concept of contemporaneity in what concerns its anthropological status as ideal and even as utopia with the challenges it poses to education understood as anthropological project.
