Contribution
Learning (and teaching) occurs in many settings outside formal education and training and a number of TLRP projects focused upon learning trajectories both at work and across the lifecourse. The findings of these projects will also be interpreted against the relationship of what is learned in more formal educational and training settings and the implications of individual career development for both education and training provision and supporting learning that helps build a coherent career narrative. These outcomes will also be explicitly discussed in a comparative perspective, drawing upon collaborative research undertaken in Germany and Norway.
Discussant: Kirsti Klette (Norway)
Kirsti is the Programme Director of the new Norwegian national educational research programme (also designed to run for ten years).
