The widespread use of internet technology has motivated universities to use learning management systems (LMS) as a supportive tool for blended learning environment. Development of LMS requires a multidisciplinary approach and instructors’ intention towards system usage is one of the most important targets to be considered because the success of the system depends on the end users’ acceptance. In this study a research model has been proposed for identifying critical success factors for the use of LMS by instructors in higher education. As a result, the aim of the study is to understand behavioral intentions of higher education instructors towards LMS and identify the influencing factors affecting acceptance of instructors based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Moreover, a model of technology acceptance for instructors is needed to increase LMS use in higher education, to analyze the reasons behind resistance towards LMS use, and to take efficient expediencies to improve users’ acceptance of the systems. Research question of the study as follow;
What are the significant successes factors effecting instructors’ acceptance towards LMS use?
