The main issues of our research deal with the methods, efficiency of cross-border cooperation and the study of the possibilities of development – improvement. The aim of our research is to present the example of the adult education organizations (mainly civil ones) operating at the Hungarian-Romanian border. In the region these organizations contribute to the development of the region to a great extent through their cooperation and passing on their so-called good practices. Their aim is to make lifelong learning available for everyone thus promoting the freedom of learning and the economic and social progress of the region.

Method

The method of our research is to compile some of the so-called good practices of adult education organizations cooperating at the Hungarian-Romanian border and to clearly present the intercultural learning activities established between them.

Expected Outcomes

As a result of our research we point out the elements that can be adapted by other countries as well and we make good practices accessible to them too.
