The increasing availability of user-centered contents mechanisms and the growth of social network services have brought a new social demand and changed the way we think, create and learn in present times, all this demands for new approaches to life.
An approach that takes into accounts relationship bounds and that considers individuals’ connections via their social networks. This relationship bound occurs in social dispersed sharing spaces, and usually are formed in very wide multidisciplinary backgrounds between people with a broad spectrum of experiences.
This social capital reinforcement within technological enhanced scenarios accounts on reciprocity to maintain and bind relationships allowing communications that may not have otherwise been possible (e.g. meeting strangers online solely through shared interests, exchange of information in seconds across countries, helps establish identity individual or group) (Putnam, 2000).
This phenomenon also implies the development of strong bound communities, which usually share common desires to progress become skilled and be distinguished (Wegner).
All this requires new capabilities and qualities like the quality of inventiveness, empathy and joyfulness or the capability to detect patterns, provide meaning, or opportunities which eventually helps people to improve their social oriented technological participatory processes. \cite{Pink06}.
Involves as well the development of new abilities and skills like the ability to relate and emphasizes with others, or the ability to understand subtleties of the human interactions or to become multi-tasked or to act equally in starkly different situations and develop expertise in multiple spheres.
In sum, this are environments that demands for a social consolidation which enables the connection of people with corresponding interests, regardless cultural, time or space barriers.
Scenarios where trust plays foremost and important role, as trust is the key element for supporting and sustain the framework of interactions (Luhman, 2000; Weber, 2003)
Taking into account the previous paragraphs, our aim is to contribute towards this social consolidation practices by providing a comprehensive understanding on assessing the impact of trust in supporting and sustain the framework of interactions, that contributes towards the individual and collective intellectual climate of an online learning environment.
This paper main relevance is then to provide a comprehensive understanding on how to foster people's intentions or desire to share and participate in distance online learning context.
In this paper we reflect, as well on the importance trust in foster the increasing tendency towards a climate where each individual contributes to a collective intellectual climate, rather than the media itself, especially in foster scenarios where online relations and their social actions represent the main feature results, like knowledge transfer based scenarios.
