Four network papers presented on the conference of 2005 were published in the EERJ (September 2006).
Other main activities of the network were concentrated on the organisation and streamlining of more than 60 proposals for the conference in Geneva.
More than 50 presentations and posters were actually given.
Given the present state and expected development of ICT in education and training, four topics are thought to be essential in the near future:
- Theory and research to improve ICT-based instruction and learning;
- Cognitive, social, and motivational processes in ICT-supported learning environments;
- Assessment, evaluation and research by using ICT in education and training;
- Construction and use of ICT benchmarks in (inter)national research.
These topics will as much as possible be used as criteria to structure the network.
Moreover, on the conference in Geneva some appointments were made with respect to the collaboration with other EERA networks and concerning EU project proposals.
This is work in progress.
