Annual Report 2014, Porto

A total of 36 paper presentations, 13 presentations within the framework of 4 symposia, and 4 poster presentations were included in the  sessions of Network 16 at 2014's ECER conference. Themes included the enhancing of learning processes by ICT, digital literacy, learning with mobile devices, instructional design and technology use, online learning, ICT and teacher training, technology enhanced learning environments, and ICT and self-regulated learning. Presenters originated from several European countries. In addition, presentations were given by researchers from the United States, New Zealand, Chile, and Colombia. Sessions were well attended, and discussions after the presentations were engaging.

Two joint sessions with Network 6 ('Open Learning: Media, Environments and Cultures') have been scheduled at ECER 2014. In addition, a workshop ('ICTs to Improve Learning and Research') has been given by Ton Mooij to the Emerging Researchers' Group. Several presentations were given by researchers from the local research community.
