During 2022 - 2023, from the network, we organized two online workshops, one Season School, and published the Third digital edition of Proceedings of ECER -NW29.
The highlights of this year's conference were:
- the engagement of the attendants (between 15 and 25 attendants per session) allowed very interesting and pertinent debates
- the variety of topics (besides issues related to teaching arts and arts education, some of them also were in connection with social justice, sustainability, and environment, IA)
- the high response to the two Special Calls we proposed (we organized 1 session related to Transdisciplinarity among arts and 3 sessions focused on Arts and Democracy)
- the success and interest of participants of Joint Sessions ( we proposed Joint Sessions with Nw33. Gender and Education and Nw13. Philosophy of Education)
- the variety of European and non-European representation (attendants from several European countries and also from Asia and Latin America).
The debates were very rich and the contributions presented a wide notion of arts and education, bringing research not only based on visual arts but also through music, dance, theater, performance, as well as interdisciplinary projects.
