Annual Report 2024, Nicosia

The most important developments during the year have been:

PUBLICATIONS:
1) Online Publication of Proceedings of NW29-ECER 2023
2) Publication of two articles in national journals regarding the NW29 and its development and functions.

ACTIVITIES to engage the community:
1) Collaborative visual mosaic
2) Online seminar: 'Who is me? Who are we? Questioning the subjects of knowledge in a participatory research process', led by the GEPPAIE group. The highlights of this year's conference were:

SPECIAL CALLS: We launched two special Calls that allowed us to organise in ECER 2024 several sessions:
a) Special Call about Care in Arts-Education Research: provided one paper session and one workshop
b) Special Call about Materiality in Arts-Education Research: provided two paper sessions

JOINT SESSIONS: we organised two Joint sessions:
1) NW 29. Research on Arts Education with NW30. Environmental and Sustainability Education Research, ESER
2) NW 29. Research on Arts Education with NW31. LEd – Network on Language and Education In addition to this, the sessions during ECER 2024 were very inspiring. The presenters and attendees were very engaged in insightful discussions and debates, sharing research on arts and education from several countries, including European and non-European. The room was quite comfortable and since the tables and chairs were mobile, it allowed us to rearrange and adapt the space depending on the format of presentations.

Each network holds a Network Meeting during ECER and invites interested researchers to join. We have collected the network meeting minutes.
