Advanced Sport Pedagogy: Crossing borders to develop a new research agenda

Wednesday, 14/Sep/2011, 10.30-12.00 h
JK 27/103

The purpose of this symposium is to introduce the new Network on Research in Sport Pedagogy and to invite suggestions about its future direction. The speakers will explore different dimensions of the concept of ‘Sport Pedagogy’ and will explain its potential to cross traditional academic and professional borders in the interests of developing new theory and better informed practice.

The symposium will conclude with ideas for a new research agenda, and will invite further discussion with researchers from across Europe who may be interested in establishing new research partnerships and collaborations. Further details on the research topics covered in this network can be found at: www.eera-ecer.eu/networks/network18/. We look forward to welcoming you to be a part of the launch symposium for this exciting European research development in our field.
