Contribution

The goal of this research is to identify the relationship among three different School purposes: the Intelligence of school, the Learning which it carries out, and the Change which it promotes as a response to the demands of student development. The study also tries to understand how the School Project is sustained in this trilogy. In a time when schools face the need to respond to the challenges of innovation through the construction of a collective project, which implies individual and groups changes in their concepts and practices, the study seeks to understand what are the striving demands teachers are confronted with as professionals who are responsible for the organizational management and the dynamic construction of the curriculum.

Method

Using a methodology with ethnographic characteristics, this research sets out to analyse and interpret the school’s efforts to encounter the logics of thinking and the action involved in the construction, development and evaluation of curricular projects at different levels.

Expected Outcomes

This research identifies the dimensions of the School's Intelligence, as well as how they are revealed and how they influence the learning process and the tendencies of change within the school itself.
