Starting from the idea of child as a political agent ( Pilcher, 2002;2008) this research discusses methodological and ethical implications for the analysis of the child perspective in for Convention of the Right of the Child (CRC) research.
Based on the analysis of bullying cases in boarding schools in Sweden this research discusses the use of alternative data collection methods as a strategy to overcame impossibilities to include children s’ voices by life-history interviews or surveys. Furthermore, it exemplifies and discusses contradictions and diversity in the interpretation of children s’ voices in relation to CRC.
