“Quality” means the optimization of the media, situations, process and results in all entity and activity. (Chawla, Renesh, 1995, Bayon and Garcia, 1997).

But, being as,  in definitely, the parameters the quality measurement are assumed value by those  carry out the estimation, the concept of quality becomes at something submitted to the subjectivity of each person. Deming, (1981, aforementioned in Gento, 1996) affirm, the quality consist in the contribution of the satisfaction of the need of clients.

The aplications of the basics of the quality constitute the form of the directions to do more efficient entity the Educative Institution, for the evolve of them function both to conformation of a competity work ambient which involve constant challenges for who participate in those and reflect the accomplishment of upgrade the development levels.

In the educative frame mortinore (1991, aforementioned in Palma, 2018), says “The quality school is that promotes the progress of the students in a ample spectrum  of intellectual, socials, moral, and emotional accomplishment, reckoning his socioeconomic level, his familiar media and his previous learning. A efficient academic system maximize the capacity of the schools to reach these results. Which means adopt the notion to add value the efficiency of the education.”

The interest to estimulate the quality, like a necessary condition to foment the education system of higher education, covers the participation of the professorate like a necessary condition to the transformation.

The pedagogical formation and the teachers didactic of the Sonora University have include the betterment of teachers function. These are fundamental for the succeed of any educative model which want to start, as the teacher continues be responsible to promote and guide the construction and the development of the learning of the students.

The present work is based in the Total Quality of the Educative Institutions of Gento Palacios Model (1996; 2002), that are part of a integral vision. Thus, all component that constitute a center or educative institution will be regarded as susceptible to analysis based on quality criteria, and all is regarded integral elements of a institutional system, which have its resulting unit of the conjunction such components.

The quality of a educative institution is the product of the excellency obtained in the components of that institution. Because of that, its considerated in each institution have “identifiers” and “predictors” of quality. And the previous facilitate the identification of the quality evidence, considered as the dependents variable, and in this last ones permit predict the possibility of the quality, constituting the independent variables. The model is based in a double focus, deductive-inductive (Gento, 2002).

The General Target of the present investigations is:

Value the educative quality of the degree programs, owned by the Division of Social Science of the University of Sonora, by evaluating of the real and ideal profile of the predictor and identifier of quality.

Method

Participants: The sample consists of 515 studentes of intermediate and advanced semesters of the seven pregrade programs from the Division of Social Sciences (Psycology, Communication Sciences, Social Work, Sociology, Laws, Public Administration and History) from the University of Sonora, the criteria for participation were willing and time availability for the aplication and the semester the students were enrolled in. Instruments: In order to obtain information about the students’ perception of the quality of the school, we applied a questionnaire about “assessing the quality of educative institutions”, which collects information about the importance given and the real evidence (achievements, existence, reallity and efectiveness), giving a real and ideal profile of the nine components of the educative institutions quality (Gento, 2002), which are: • Values as Educational Products • Students Satisfaction • Staff Satisfaction • Impact of Educational Product • Availability of Material and Personal Resources • Organization and Planification of the Institution • Administration and Management of Resources • Educational Methodology • The leadership of the director, other members of management and teachers. Questionnaires were paginated and separated by degrees , the data is captured in the statistical program SPSS version 21 for concentration and analysis

Expected Outcomes

The obtained information of the theory investigation and the empiric analysis will be presented to the reflection and interpretation, for the purpose of extract the derivatives conclusions of the investigation. The conclusion and the proposals of intervention will be used as base for put some possible opportunity areas for the future investigations, attempting provide valuable elements of the institutions of superior education for the improvements in the total quality. The results obtained in this study will be useful to design and implement activities and processes aimed to improve the quality of educational institutions. The analysis of the actual and the ideal profile given by the students of the diferent bachelor programs can demonstrate the reality felt by university students, who look for a better academic training and greatest goals, because, in the real world, their main goal will be to have the ability to solve problems appropriately.
