Contribution
This paper will present the development of the Contrato de Inclusión Dialógica [Dialogic Inclusion Contract] (CID) as a pathway which is providing a successful response in order to move from being a school in a situation of social exclusion to a successful school. In order to do so a process involving egalitarian dialogue is carried out, characterised by placing the contributions of the international scientific community into interaction with social agents, implicating families and the community, teachers, administration representatives and university researchers. The responsibilities and commitments of each of the parties is defined as part of this process, so that those practices which have demonstrated that they contribute to overcoming social and educational inequalities can be carried out successfully. The application of the Dialogic Inclusion Contract is currently leading to an improvement in academic results and coexistence. In turn the Dialogic Inclusion Contract has contributed to generating new and successful policies as a response to situations of school failure and social exclusion.
