This paper will report on research related to the conceptual development and modification of an interactive training resource focused on in-school coordination of staff development. Often allied to the major curriculum changes of the past decade, the introduction of school development planning and the appraisal of teachers, staff development is focused on meeting individual, professional and organisational needs. The Scottish approach to continuing professional development places increasing reliance on the coordination and management of in-school opportunities for teachers. In recognition, the Scottish Office has commissioned from the authors a CDrom which among other factors provides an ICT approach to learning about the role of the staff development coordinator (SDC).
