Since 2002, the journal Investigar em Educação (RIE) has been the scientific journal of the Portuguese Society of Educational Sciences (SPCE). The journal is published quarterly and is open to all authors who wish to publish their research articles in the field of educational sciences.

- If you wish to submit articles to the journal, we invite you to check the About the Journal section and read the section policies, as well as the Instructions for Authors. You must register in the system before submitting an article; if you have already registered, simply log in to the system and start the 5-step submission process.
Call for Articles - Formação de Professores – Possibilidades de Transcendência Profissional
This call aims to reflect on and rethink teacher training policies, models and practices, overcoming dichotomies and valuing interdisciplinary, critical and contextualised approaches. The aim is to bring together research, experience reports and theoretical essays that critically address teacher training processes, identifying the challenges, advances and perspectives of teacher training at different stages and in different contexts, with a special focus on the links between initial training and continuing training.
