During the network meeting we discussed the following issues:
1. Network activities and possibilities for EERA funding for summer schools, network projects and network-related publications. Deadline for all forms of network funding is 1 Nov. 2016. From the discussions the initiative for a summer school on the different roots of curriculum studies, to be held in Stirling, Scotland June 2016, arose (please see Network Activities for further information).
2. Network-related publications
- Papers and presentations of ECER2016 can be uploaded at <link http: curriculuminnovation.mixxt.org>curriculuminnovation.mixxt.org
- EERJ and relationship with networks (EERJ would like more collaboration with Networks)
- Connections with other journals, for instance JCS
3. Other relevant curriculum networks and conferences
- Launch (November 2016) of new Scottish Curriculum network: <link https: www.stir.ac.uk social-sciences research ourresearchcentresandnetworks stirlingnetworkforcurriculumstudies>www.stir.ac.uk/social-sciences/research/ourresearchcentresandnetworks/stirlingnetworkforcurriculumstudies/
- Call for papers 3rd European Conference on Curriculum Studies (University of Stirling; 16-17 June 2017)
- Cidree (Consortium of Institutions for Development and Research in Education in Europe) held a preconference-seminar hosted by NCCA (National Council for Curriculum and Assessment in Dublin, Ireland).
4. Convenors' duties in the Network
- Reviewing ECER proposals
- Chairing ECER sessions
- If applicable: Sharing responsibilities in projects, publications, season schools
5. Next ECERs
- 2017: Copenhagen (21-25 August, 2017)
- 2018: Bolzano
6. Communication during ECER. The initiative of the network flyer was very much appreciated. For the future we may also consider a twitter hashtag.
