This round table focuses on the capacity of research methods to be inclusive, critically discussing the main issues that concern this challenge. Some questions will engage the audience in an interactive discussion.

There are two types of Workshops at the Emerging Researchers' Conference: Network Workshops and ERC Workshops. On Monday afternoon, EERA networks organise workshops introducing questions within their research fields.

There are two types of Workshops at the Emerging Researchers' Conference: Network Workshops and ERC Workshops. The ERC Workshops on Tuesday afternoon address issues typically relevant to Emerging Researchers: How to prepare a doctoral defence, how to publish, etc.

The ERC Welcome Reception will take place on Monday, 3 September, 18:30 - 21:00.

We are organising a “Lunch Break with Local Academics” that promises to be another engaging opportunity for participants. The event will be held from 12:30-13:30 on Monday 3 September 2018 in a dedicated area, where about 50 emerging researchers who pre-register will have the unique chance to discuss and exchange ideas around a focused topic with 7-8 local academics.
