The Local Organising Committee and the Convenors of the Emerging Researchers' Group are delighted to inform you about a unique opportunity as part of the social programme that will take place at lunchtime on Monday 3 September during the Emerging Researchers' Conference 2018:
We are organising a “Lunch Break with Local Academics” that promises to be another engaging opportunity for participants. The event will be held from 12:30-13:30 on Monday 3 September 2018 in a dedicated area, where about 50 emerging researchers who pre-register will have the unique chance to discuss and exchange ideas around a focused topic with 7-8 local academics. This will be the perfect way for participants to share a meal and to get to know, meet, connect and network both with and their peers and local academics, sharing the latest groundbreaking insights on topics of their interest.
“Lunch Break with Local Academics” is an attractive informal opportunity for emerging researchers to socialise and to take part in the scientific community. The event is intended to give an informal opportunity in a designated location for networking, creating global connections and knowledge exchange during lunch time.
You are invited to register for this event on the first day of the ERC 2018, i.e Monday 3 September 2018 before 11:00. You can register near the EERA Help desk where there will be some stands on which you can write your name. Please note that this opportunity is offered on a limited capacity, first-come, first-serve basis.
We look forward to seeing you in Bolzano!
