EERA Summer School 2027

On Meaning and Impact of Educational Research

  • Hosted by Vilnius University, Lithuania

  • 28 June - 2 July 2027
The central theme of this year's Summer School is the meaning and impact of educational research. We invite emerging researchers to reflect on their own research projects and their significance for society, educational practice, and their own professional development. By considering ourselves and our research as situated within broader social, cultural, and other contexts, we will explore how educational research can help us make sense of an increasingly complex and uncertain world.

Since the time of Grand Duke Gediminas, whose letters of 1323 first mention the city, Vilnius has been a meeting place of cultures, languages, and ideas. Over the centuries, Vilnius has been shaped by diverse cultural traditions, creating a unique multicultural heritage that continues to define the city today.
