Contribution
In this presentation, we introduce a methodological approach based on the joint theory (Sensevy et al. 2007) to analyse the evolution of classroom practices during a teaching sequence in physics at grade 10 with video recordings as main data. This methodology has two main characteristics:
(1) It is based on three scales of analyses (macro, meso and microscopic); these scales are relative to time and granularity of knowledge.
(2) It allows the researchers to analyse an entire teaching sequence at the three scales. The deep analysis focused on a part of the sequence can be situated in the analysis of the whole sequence.
