On the basis of the new educational paradigm, efforts are made in the process of studies not only to educate versatile spacialists, but also to train people who would be able to find their place in the multicultural society.The aim of this article is to reveal how an innovative approach towards cooperation in the teaching/learning process coupled with the creation of an effective educational environment could stimulate students' self-reflection as well as the broadening of the possibilities of mutual intercultural understanding.Research question: Can elements of innovative cooperation be used for teaching/learning the basics of the Latin language? Aim: To evaluate the influence of the development of innovative cooperation on the effectiveness of the courses of medical terminology in Latin.Objectives:1. To discuss the elements of the pedagogical strategy of innovative cooperation; 2. To evaluate the tendencies of changes in studets' attitudes towards learning; 3.
