Contribution
Evidence’ and ‘efficacy’ are common themes in the field of education policy and discourse on education. This chapter will review what these terms mean and reflect their relevance in the context of debates on global education (GE) and global learning. Trends in monitoring and evaluation as well as their relationship to the importance of research for global education will be particularly discussed.
