Studentski Park, situated between three university buildings in the very heart of the city, has traditionally served as a gathering place for the academic community. This green square, adorned with busts of Serbian educators and intellectuals, symbolizes knowledge, youth, and culture. Located just a few minutes’ walk from the main conference venue, the park is much more than a public space — it is where generations of students have grown, exchanged ideas, and shaped the city’s intellectual spirit. Its relaxed atmosphere and historical context make it the perfect setting for an informal evening and a welcoming introduction to the core of the ECER program.
ECER Social Event – Jevremovac Botanical Garden

Location: Jevremovac Botanical Garden, Takovska 43, Belgrade
Time: 19:15 - 22:00
Price: € 30.00, Tickets sold on a first come first served basis
Included: Finger food dinner & 2 soft/alcoholic drinks
Music: DJ set in the garden
Getting there: approximately 20 minutes walk from university, or 15 minutes by public transport
The final evening is reserved for the unique atmosphere of the Jevremovac Botanical Garden, established in 1874. This hidden gem in the heart of Belgrade is home to hundreds of plant species and a historic glasshouse. The tropical greenhouse, Japanese garden, and expansive lawns provide the perfect setting for a summer celebration under the open sky. With a limited capacity of 800 participants, the event promises an intimate and exclusive experience amid the garden’s enchanting night-time ambiance, with music, food, and drinks — a perfect ending to the conference week.
