Krisztián Józsa is Professor of Education. His research focuses on mastery motivation, school readiness, and the development of cognitive and social skills from early childhood through primary education. He founded and leads the Early Childhood Education Section of the Hungarian Educational Research Association (HERA), an EERA member association. He holds professorships at the University of Szeged and the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. A Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (DSc), he is Vice-Chair of its Committee on Educational Sciences and chairs its Public Education Development Research Programme. His work supports successful school transitions and equitable learning opportunities.
