Due to the fact that ECER takes place in a different city/country and at a different venue each year, you will find below specific information on the current ECER as well as more general information.

ECER 2024, Cyprus

  • Gender-neutral toilets: The gender-neutral toilets can be recognised by the accessible icon (wheelchair) and can be found on each floor. There are restrooms on each floor. Look for the universally recognised symbols for restrooms, such as male/female icon or the letters “WC”. If an LGBTQIA+ individual feels unsafe or uncomfortable using gendered restrooms, using an accessible toilet might be an alternative. Safety and well-being are important considerations.
  • Pronoun pins at the Emerging Researchers' Conference (optional): If you would like to, you can choose a pronoun pin at check-in  to wear during the conference. We encourage the use of these by everyone who feels comfortable doing so.
  • If you experience difficult/unpleasant situations, have any questions or need assistance, please contact dow(at)eera.eu
