Contribution
Whether to pursue a post doctoral fellowship abroad or not is a difficult question, and only you can answer it, since it depends on a variety of factors, such as one’s gender, social background, age, nationality, family situation, research topic, or your further career plans to name a few. This talk will provide you with information about prerequisites, realization and outcomes of post doctoral fellowships in general and specifically with details on how my own post doctoral fellowship unfolded.
In order to initiate a discussion on post doctoral fellowships abroad, Dr. Ilse Hakvoort has been invited to comment on the presentation and relate it to her own experiences of post-doc abroad.
