Contribution
Our action, in the frame of training program of teachers that works with Roma pupils, aims in the appointment of those factors that will render the school a space friendly and hospitable for them, specifically, in what it concerns the collaboration between school and family. Young Rom have high failure rates and student leaks. Even though Rom parents firmly declare their will to send their children to school, however reality proves the opposite. In this direction, we will analyze the interviews taken by the schoolteachers and the parents of Roma pupils, but also from the same pupils in order to identify their needs. At the same time, we will evaluate the effectiveness of pedagogic interventions of teachers after the training program. The teachers take the responsibility to apply in their classrooms but also with the Rom families what they learned during the training program. Our investigation has the characteristics of a Research Action.
