Paper Session
Contribution
I pay my attention, on one hand, on the doctoral trainings built within the framework of consortia of postsecondary institutions and, on the other hand, following the example of the UNESCO (UNESCO, 2004) and Tauch and Rauhvargers (Tauch and Rauhvargers, 2002) on the cooperation to build joint program.
This type of trainings is widely encouraged by the process of Bologna to build the European Space of the Higher education because numerous virtues are attributed to them: the improvement of the quality of the training, the improvement of the gratitude of the periods of past studies abroad, the improvement of the legibility and the convergence of the systems, the strengthening of the mobility of the students and the researchers, the improvement of the employability, the strengthening of the European dimension, the strengthening of the attractiveness of the European education, etc. (Tauch and Rauhvargers, on 2002). These trainings built in transnational partnership are exhorted as well by the EU since the 1980s in the idea as the division of the experiences and the exchange of goog practices, benchlearning (Sanchez Saldago, 2008; Jorgensen, 2006).
The study thus leans on the notion of transnational higher education, theorized by Stephan Vincent-Lancrin (Vincent-Lancrin, 2004; 2008; 2008) and Jane Knight (Knight, 2007).
