18 SES 08, EUPEA and DSLV: Past, Current and Future Research Projects Related to Physical Education

EUPEA, the European Physical Education Association, is the umbrella association of the national physical education teacher associations in Europe and represents approx. European 200.000 PE teachers. DSLV, the German Physical Education Teacher Association, consists of 16 state associations and represents approx. 10.000 German PE teachers.
This session consists of the following three parts:
• A brief summary of EUPEA’s and DSLV’s accomplished research projects related to PE.
• An overview on EUPEA’s and DSLV’s current research projects related to PE.
• An outlook on possible EUPEA’s and DSLV’s future research projects related to PE (including corresponding funding shemes as well as potential collaborations with the NW18).
Method
This is a discussion of current and future research. Details of research methods will be outlined within the overview of research projects.
Expected Outcomes
Key findings from past research will be identified and implications for future work considered.
