PRIVATOPIA – A Research Network on the Privatization of European Education, which is anchored in the Policy FuturesResearch Project of the Danish School of Education/Univeristy of Arhus will meet during ECER on Wednesday,4 September, lunchtime.

We encourage interested colleagues who are participating in ECER to bring their lunch to the meeting. PRIVATOPIA invites researchers interested in the topics of privatization, commercialization, and marketization in education to join forces and explore potential collaborations, events, and activities. PRIVATOPIA aims to further understanding, in a collaborative manner, of the implications of educational privatization in the context of the European education space, and what this might mean for the nature, purpose, and role of public education.

You can learn more about the network by visiting https://projects.au.dk/privatopia/ . For any questions regarding the meeting, please contact network coordinator Lucas Lundbye Cone at luco@edu.au.dk.
