Annual Report 2003, Hamburg

During 2002 and 2003 efforts in the network have been concentrated on the work involved in the development of the EU - Fifth Framework Programme (research, technological development and demonstration) sponsored project PERINE.

PERINE = Pedagogical and Educational Research Information Network for Europe.

The project is aimed at improving the information quality for educational researchers in Europe. PERINE is an infrastructure project, which makes national and international high quality information from the Internet available for and from the researchers.

The project its participants, ideas and services are described in detail at: www.dipf.de/perine/.

During the ECER in Hamburg the PERINE database was launched and the network held a workshop to discuss desirable development during the final year of the PERINE project, culminating in a further presentation at ECER 2004.

At ECER in Hamburg the Network also had a paper-session with papers on educational researchers use of the internet and students' learning processes in university libraries.

Each network holds a Network Meeting during ECER and invites interested researchers to join. We have collected the network meeting minutes.
