Annual Report 2008, Göteborg

During ECER in Gothenburg the network had two workshops and a paper session. In the first workshop we discussed the future of our network. For this purpose a paper was prepared which served as a basis for a later discussion with EERA officials.

The second workshop dealt - as in the past years – with remarkable developments in educational research and policy in European countries (Title: «The Provision of Information about Educational Research in Selected European Countries: an Annual Review»). Recent developments in this subject in Germany, Italy, France, Hungary and Switzerland were presented and discussed.

In the paper session two contributions from Germany and Austria were presented and discussed, entitled «European Educational Research Quality Indicators» and «The influence of educational research on education policy making».
