Annual Report 2013, Istanbul
The main activities of Network 12 in 2013 took place during ECER in Istanbul. Network 12 offered three sessions with a wide range of topics. We started the first session of the conference with the contribution of Corinna Wulf and Anja Hellenschmidt (University of Dortmund) about libraries as educational partners in Germany. This very interesting presentation was followed by the contribution of Ute Sondergeld (DIPF, Frankfort) about an indicator-based assessment of educational research in Germany. The third contribution of this session, by Christoph Schindler, had the title «Heterogeneous Information Practices in Educational Research. Following Research Data,Environments and Apparatuses in Interaction».
In the past years Network 12 always had a session or two about recent developments in educational research in European countries – a kind of open session. We therefore had also this year two sessions (4 and 5 on Wednesday morning) reporting from Sweden (Britten Ekstrand, Annica Otterborg), Italy (Silvia Panzavolta) and Germany (Uwe Lehmpfuhl, Alexander Botte). The presenter from Denmark unfortunately didn’t show up.
