An important development in 2024 is that the link convenor stepped down and a new link convenor was installed. Another significant development was the large number of withdrawals after programme planning had been completed. As a result of this, part of the work of the reviewers has been in vain and the programme schedule had to be reworked several times. We suspect the many withdrawals can to a large part be accounted for by the location of the conference in Nicosia, which provided many challenges.
