The conference
The presentations at the conference were relatively well attended. Some late cancellations caused a few problems with the timetable. Some sessions only had two presentations yet we were also using parallel slots in three presentation periods. This was unfortunate and could have been avoided if cancellations had come at an earlier date. Late cancellations are always a problem and are difficult to avoid. The general standard of presentations was considered to be good. Average attendance was slightly higher than in previous years.
