General Activities
In terms of numbers and beyond, the network had another successful year. The average review scores were on the rise, even though special attention was paid to thorough reviews. The sessions were well-attended. Many participants reported that the individual papers in a paper session fit together quite well, leading to a high coherence overall. The joint sessions with other networks were also praised and participants expressed hope that this could be developed even further. Ideas were put forth to better support emerging researchers, for example through a special recognition of their submissions.
Future Plans
The network plans to continue to adopt a broad understanding of educational leadership by actively including notions of teacher leadership, leadership in higher education, leadership in early childhood organizations as well as formal and non-formal forms of leadership.
