In terms of submissions, we were pleased to receive a number not too far from our usual numbers despite the fact that ECER 2021 was held online. The acceptance rate was unusually high for the network, likely due to the fact that several proposals were re-submitted from the canceled ECER 2020, often in a slightly updated manner. The sessions were mostly well attended with a few exceptions. Overall, participants had praise for the coherence of the sessions ('papers fit well together'). Some expressed hope that joints sessions would return in future ECERS. Participants also were thankful that they mostly encountered no technical difficulties.
