The special call for ECER 2023 was titled Diversity and Diversification: One World, Partial Common, or More Worlds of Education? which attracted 20 presentations. Professor Sotiria Grek held a keynote to kick of the special call sessions on Educating Europe: Diversity, Commonality and the enduring question of Europeanisation.
