This year we have a new link convenor (Elsa Lee), and a new convenor (Debby Cotton). We have been running some seminars to bring the community together online in between conferences, and we are now working out how to carry these forward into this year. Highlights of the conference were the levels of engagement with the sessions, despite them being online. We found the synchronous method worked really well to ensure that people attended and engaged, and there were some wonderful critical discussions around many of the presentations. We also used Kumo space quite a bit after the sessions finished to make the most of the emerging discussions. Our social event was a highlight for those that were able to attend.
