ECER 2018 in Bolzano confirmed the conference role as a pivotal space for scientific exchange among researchers on Inclusive Education in Europe. Moreover, a substantial number of colleagues coming from overseas countries (especially Australia, Canada, and the USA) presented a contribution to the network sessions.
During the 2018 conference, the Inclusive Education network hosted a total of 258 submissions (227 papers, 12 posters, 14 symposia, 1 Pecha Kucha, and 2 workshops). The network is grateful to the 25 colleagues that contributed to achieving the blind review process, as well as to the 30 volunteers that helped chair sessions.
The quality of the sessions, as depicted by the Session Return Slips, was notable (4.5 out of 5), as well the number of attendants (30-40 participants on average).
This year the network witnessed as well a relevant number of collaborative (symposia) and interactive (workshops) sessions, which indicate an increased potential for sharing common research projects and activities within the network.
